The Merry Wolf is part of Sociatea, an Australian tea business founded by Jacinta Gibson.

Sociatea began with a simple interest: the place tea still holds in everyday life.

The cup made before anyone else is awake. The pause in the middle of the day. The pot shared at the table. Tea has always been there, quietly marking the moments we return to.

From that idea, Sociatea grew into a broader home for considered tea, bringing together loose-leaf blends, botanicals and the everyday rituals that surround them.

The Merry Wolf is one expression of that world.

Sociatea is where you will find a broader collection of teas for different moments of the day, from calming botanicals and green teas to familiar black tea styles.

The Merry Wolf takes a more particular view.

It is centred on home, hospitality and the things worth keeping. A smaller collection of teas and objects chosen for the pantry, the table and the people gathered around it.

Both Sociatea and The Merry Wolf are founded by certified Tea Master Jacinta Gibson and blended and packed in the Barossa.

Years spent working in the drinks industry shaped an appreciation for provenance, flavour and the rituals that give a beverage its place in our lives.
